DATA MANAGEMENT RETHOUGHT

A case for Vault
We at Inoxstahlbau are convinced: It's the desire to innovate that keeps us breaking new ground. In terms of data management, we recently looked for a future-oriented solution, and found it with Vault. What is behind the well thought-out data management system and why does it also offer benefits to you as a customer? You can find out here.

What is Vault?

Vault is a tool for efficient product data management (PDM) from the company Autodesk. It is designed to help us organise our workflows in the technical office. All users can collaborate efficiently, reduce errors and save time thanks to a central source of organised data.

The advantages for us - and for you!

  • Thanks to the central data source, we can work even better with colleagues, customers, suppliers and contractors.

  • Data can be found and reused quickly. This means that we no longer have to start from scratch with data collection and save valuable project time.

  • Changes, revisions and the design progress of machines can be automatically tracked by us and you. This is how we ensure maximum transparency.

  • Everything in order: There is a central storage location for technical documentation such as data sheets, manuals and instructions.

  • PDF documents of drawings can be created automatically. This also contributes to more efficient work.

  • Graduated rights for different users are possible. For example, a buyer can download the latest drawing of a component to be ordered, but cannot make any changes. This gives us the possibility to organise ourselves well internally and also to offer you our best service.

"

"Vault means better organisation, more efficiency and more service."

Next Steps: When is Vault coming?

The Vault project started at the end of July 2021. At the beginning of August we trained our first employee and are now continuously working on adapting Vault to our needs.

From around the beginning of November we will train three more technicians and make minor adjustments. The start of productive use of Vault is scheduled for the end of 2021. We will keep you up to date!
